This Fee Schedule sets out the fees payable by recruiter and employer accounts for paid use of the Malmo Marine platform (the “Platform”). It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service, section 8, which it is referenced by.
Seafarers are never charged a fee, directly or indirectly, for obtaining work through the Platform. This is a firm position, consistent with Maritime Labour Convention 2006, Standard A1.4, which prohibits seafarers being charged for recruitment or placement.
Seafarer contact details are not shown on the Platform. A recruiter or employer requests a seafarer’s contact details through the Platform, and the seafarer chooses whether to accept the request. Once the seafarer accepts, Malmo Marine issues an invoice for the applicable tier below. Contact details are released only once that invoice has been paid — payment precedes release in every case, with no exceptions.

If contact details prove invalid, or the seafarer is confirmed unavailable at the time of unlock, Malmo Marine will credit the fee paid toward a future Contact Unlock.
Contact Unlock Fees are due on invoice, before contact details are released — no credit terms apply.
Malmo Marine may update this Fee Schedule from time to time. Changes will be notified in accordance with Terms of Service section 18, and will not apply retrospectively to a fee already invoiced and paid.
